You second-guess your memory and your feelings
Therapy for Narcissistic Abuse Recovery in Oregon
I help adults in Oregon recover from narcissistic abuse in parental and romantic relationships, through online trauma therapy. Together we work on the effects it left: self-doubt, shame, fear and a nervous system that stays on alert.
Signs you may be carrying narcissistic abuse
You feel responsible for other people’s moods
You feel guilty for having needs or setting boundaries
You miss someone who hurt you, and feel ashamed of it
You feel anxious, numb or exhausted around certain people
Adult children of narcissistic parents
Growing up with a narcissistic parent can teach you to stay small, stay useful or stay alert. Many adults only see the pattern years later. In therapy we can understand those survival strategies with compassion and help the younger parts of you feel safe now.
After a relationship with a narcissistic partner
Leaving can bring relief, and also grief, confusion and a strong pull back toward the person, sometimes called a trauma bond. That pull makes sense. We can work with it gently instead of fighting it alone.

Questions.
Does the other person need a diagnosis?
No. We focus on what you experienced and how it affects you today.
Can therapy help with a trauma bond?
Yes. Therapy can help you understand the bond, work with the memories and needs underneath it, and feel steadier in your choices.
