EMDR practitioner (EMDRIA)
About Elisa Edgreen, LPC
I'm Elisa Saboundjian Edgreen, MA, LPC, NCC, a Licensed Professional Counselor and National Certified Counselor, and the therapist behind Mana Counseling. I offer online trauma therapy for adults in Oregon, in English and French.

My approach
I offer a supportive and compassionate space for your healing and growth. My approach is integrative and holistic, drawing from a range of evidence-informed approaches. Because every person’s story is unique, I tailor therapy to each client while supporting empowerment, self-understanding and meaningful change.
In therapy, I strive to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you feel supported and understood. My role is to meet you where you are and walk alongside you with empathy, honoring your pace.
My background
Born and raised in France, I have lived in the United States for nearly twenty years and previously lived in South Korea. I earned my graduate degree in Counseling and Clinical Mental Health from Palo Alto University in California. I also hold graduate degrees in Linguistics and in Korean Language and Literature, and for more than ten years I taught at the University of Hawaii, working with people from many countries and cultures.
Over the past few years, I have volunteered with a nonprofit clinic in Portland, providing telehealth therapy to underserved communities. I now practice as a psychotherapist in my private practice, Mana Counseling.
My path to becoming a therapist has been shaped by a deep wish to support others and by my own life experience. As a trauma survivor, I have come to understand the mind and body connection, the role of the nervous system and its regulation, and the healing impact of a nurturing, compassionate inner dialogue.
