Creative & Experiential Therapy

Using tarot imagery, nesting dolls, symbolism, and experiential tools to support trauma processing, parts work, inner-child healing, and self-exploration. Tarot is used as a reflective therapeutic tool, not for divination.

Tarot Imagery for Reflective Processing

Mana Counseling uses tarot imagery strictly as a reflective, symbolic tool—not for divination. Choosing cards can help give form to emotions, connect with your parts, create some distance from painful experiences, and bring forward parts or themes that may be difficult to name. In session, you may be invited to select imagery, notice your associations, and explore what the images represent for you. The focus is always on your own meaning, not on predicting the future. This approach can support trauma work, parts dialogue, and the development of new perspectives, while always emphasizing choice, pacing, grounding, and emotional safety.

Nesting Dolls for Parts Work and Inner-Child Healing

Nesting dolls (matryoshka-style) offer a visual way to explore different layers of the self. They may be used to represent protective parts, vulnerable parts, the inner child, and relational roles. Clients can arrange, name, or interact with the dolls to better understand internal dynamics, boundaries, and unmet needs. These exercises are always optional, paced gently, trauma focused and grounded in emotional safety.
